Anu (Shriya) is a classical music singer who plans to elope with her boyfriend Arun (Subbaraju). But her plans are cut short when Venu (Nagarjuna), a port contractor, unknowingly hands her boyfriend over to Arun's dad, JP (Mukesh Rushi). Anu is now the strandedher family has disowned her and her lover has dropped her. By knowing his mistake, Venu rescues and safeguards her at his home. When Venu convinces Arun once again for the match with Anu, JP sows the seeds of suspicion in the mind of Arun, saying that Anu had an affair with Venu, thus spoiling the proposal which leads to a different climax of the story. Sruti (Arti Agarwal) is a friend of Anu and is in love with Venu. Nagarjuna is as charming as ever in this movie.
